Summary: The hotel was about a 10-minute walk to Phoenix Park, and was a 30-minute cab ride to the nearest KTX station. On the day we left, the owner arranged a taxi for us and it cost about W25,000 one-way to go to the KTX station. The stay itself was pleasant. The room was modest, warm and good for the price. Unfortunately the establishment smelled of compost. The washing machine (no dryer) was free to use however you need to either bring your own laundry detergent or buy it from the convenience store across the road. The hotel also sold ski passes at a cheaper price than Phoenix Park itself. The owners did not speak English but we had no problems communicating using a translator app.
