Plan to tour the wineries - We're minutes to several of them by car or bicycle. And check out the Kinsip distillery , also only minutes away. Beer or cider your thing?Matron Fine beer is just around the corner off the Millenium Trail & Barley Days brewery is on the road into Picton as well as Crimson Cider just before Hagerman's farmer's market where you can grab some fresh produce for your bbq or picnic. There's even a Drive-In theatre close by.

A short walk (the sidewalk starts at our place) gets you to the heart of the town where you can sample gourmet ice cream, shop for neat gifts or have tea and sandwiches at an outdoor garden cafe.
