Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was very well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, blankets, teas, snacks, and coffee. We also found the mini-fridge very helpful, and used the utensils and bowls provided to have some meals in the apartment. We went in December and were grateful the heater worked well. The bed is quite firm, which is great for my back. There were many thoughtful decorations to make it feel homey. There is a desk and chair to sit and work at as well, which was comfortable. The neighborhood has many good restaurants and supermarkets, and the apartment is very close to the Furio Camillo metro (to go downtown) and the Roma Tuscolano train station (to go to the airport).

Negative: The shower has plenty of hot water, but can be tricky to use at first, and sometimes we found it was necessary to turn it off and on again to get the hot water running. Similarly the toilet had some trouble flushing, but the host called a plumber to fix it and we had no difficulties from then on. Communication with the host was sometimes good, but sometimes slow. Although it was the holidays, and we also noticed that the Booking App was failing to send some of our messages, so that accounts for part of the issue.

Summary: Small well-equipped apartment with minor bathroom issues in a nice residential neighborhood
