Positive: The host was nice! The property wasn’t directly in the center, but I liked the quiet location, and it was an easy 20 minute walk to central Skopje. Everything was clean, bright, and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the tap water was not only drinkable, but delicious. In Skopje I also stayed at a 5 star hotel with weird rules (like not drinking the tap water, not bringing in bottled water, only drinking tiny 5 Euro water bottles from the mini fridge, and none of the advertised facilities actually existing), and this place was such a relief comparatively. They also had an electric kettle for coffee.

Negative: It would be nice if the host could add curtains around the windows. There are so many windows, which is great for natural light, but made me uncomfortable sleeping in my underwear as I usually do, as the house is basically a fishbowl. There were also some internet issues, so if you are a person for whom stable internet issues a high priority, this may not be the ideal place for you. Most of the time the internet worked quickly and well, but there were a couple of notable outages.
