Positive: The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a few special requests, and they were fulfilled with great care and kindness. The house exceeded our expectations – it was more spacious than the photos suggested, very new and impeccably clean. Both the kitchen and living room open directly to the pool area, and even in late October, the pool water was pleasantly warm. The garden was large, well-maintained, and faces the evening sun, making it bright and pleasant well into the evening. The last rays of sunlight can be beautifully seen from the upstairs terrace. The kids were delighted with the fast Wi-Fi and access to Netflix. Thoughtful lighting both indoors and outdoors created a cozy atmosphere. Doing laundry was easy thanks to the fully equipped utility room. All in all, this accommodation was a perfect base for exploring Southern Sardinia – peaceful, functional, and comfortable, with every detail carefully considered. The location was excellent for exploring Southern Sardinia by car. It was easy to drive from the house to the beautiful beaches of Villasimius and to the city of Cagliari. Getting to the airport was also very straightforward – the road is wide, clear, and well signposted. The house and garden are beautiful and inviting, but Capitana itself is not a place where we would choose to spend the entire holiday. However, it works perfectly as a base for day trips and discovering the surrounding area.
