Positive: The house is a grand old lady and peacefully located facing the Seine. The dining room is comfortable and a great place to socialize.
Negative: The maintenance of the place needs to be improved. The garden was overgrown and shabby and there were various pots and pans and pieces of half eaten toast lying around. The house itself unfortunately has a lot of peeling paint and cracked mirrors and window panes leading to an overall rundown impression which was a shame for a beautiful house and location. The sofa has seen better days. There is a high speed rail line that runs behind the hill behind the house which does result in a loud shushing noise every now and then, but it did not destroy the overall peace of the place.
