185 km to the north from Jyväskylä, 160 km to the south from Oulu, located in the center of Pyhäsalmi nearby old protected railway station and services. Distance to the lake Pyhäjärvi is 500 m, motor boat can be rented from the owner (10 hp, steering wheel, customer brings fuel). Public swimming beach 700 m.
The old sauna building has been replaced by a new building, built in 2016. Living room/kitchen with 2 beds and a sofa, sauna, washroom/WC, separate WC and a small terrace.
The carport shown in the picture is not in use for customers. A moveable hot tub for rent. Contact owner for availability. Prices 90 € per time, 150 €/2 days, extra days 50€/day (customer carries out heating).
There are also barbecue and campfire next to the old railway station building. Those are in a shared use with other residents.
Hunting of small game on land owned by owner included in the prices. Hunting areas are 2-35 km away from the apartment. Maps of the areas are in the apartment. Distance to the state owned hunting areas (Korpihovi and Riikinhovi) are about 25 km (see www.eraluvat.fi).
In Pyhäjärvi you can fish with a single lure by paying a fisheries management fee (see www.eraluvat.fi). The fisherman must check the fishing restrictions before fishing from www.kalastusrajoitus.fi! Permits for trap fishing can be bought from R-kioski.
The services of the Pyhäsalmi center, shops and restaurants can be easily reached by walking. You can easily reach the destination by train, as the train stops 30 meters away.
