traumHaff® Sea Hideaway: Pet-Friendly Oceanfront Retreat | House in Rieth am See, Germany

3 Bedroom House with Oceanfront, Security and Fireplace
The Baltic Sea has always had a very special fascination for the people who lived there.
Seafarers brought home souvenirs from all over the Baltic Sea at all times. We have taken up this tradition and equipped the house in bright colors and with a beautiful, authentic souvenir decoration.
You will love the atmosphere as much as we do. Only a few meters from the sea, experience a very special holiday in your hideaway. The semi-detached house consists of 2 hideaways, each of which is individually furnished and can be rented separately.

The fishing village of Rieth with its 148 inhabitants is a very special gem on the Szczecin Lagoon.
As soon as you drive into town, you'll be greeted by pre-Pomeranian brick and half-timbered houses, as well as well-kept farm gardens. It is reassuring to know that you have to drive back the only road that leads into town. There is no through traffic. Arrived at the village green (Herrengarten) with its ancient chestnuts, you will see the former "Gasthof zum blau See", the exterior of which has not changed for 150 years and is now a holiday home. Vis à vis is in the former small syringe house the smallest museum in Germany, the Riether Heimatstube with exhibits from the Stettiner Haff and the Baltic Sea.
If you drive further into town, you will pass the former village school, half-timbered church, former forester's house and a few meters further on the Rieth Castle.
Then you can reach the natural harbor with sailing and fishing boats, fish traps, nets. From here you can take a boat across the lagoon to the Baltic Sea. Now it is only a few meters to the beach. The forest bathing area is particularly ideal for children, as the water only gradually deepens here. The sailmaker's house is also ideal for a vacation with your dog because it is completely fenced.
The wide view across the bay to the lagoon is often interrupted by the pulling of pairs of sea eagles. The cranes' call from the surrounding meadows proclaims an intact nature that can rarely be found.
Culinary Rieth offers you a small vegetarian restaurant in the Gesathaus Klatschmohn and a café with homemade cakes. In summer, the saxophone fisherman organizes an evening of smoking right on the water every Friday evening. With him you can immediately agree which fish he should prepare for you for the next few days if you light the grill.
But the region also has a lot to offer.
The Riether Winkel and the entire Szczecin Lagoon are in the middle of the "Nature Park on the Szczecin Lagoon". Here you can undertake the most beautiful cycling and hiking tours "Around Lake Neuwarper". The rental bike is delivered directly to the holiday home. A cutter drives you across the lagoon and you can discover the island of Usedom on the horizon. How about a cooking class or vegetarian spreads and fresh bread in the Klatschmohn health center, a horseback ride in the Fennhof Ludwigsburg or a trip to the many small and original lagoon beaches from Altwarp to Ueckermünde. You can also reach this via a bike path if you do not want to move the car.
The Riether Winkel region and the entire Szczecin Lagoon offer you a dream vacation in a pristine landscape between forest and water, far from the tourist strongholds.
