The house is located one kilometer away of the main road in the upper fields of the Orleans island, in St-Laurent. It is surrounded by cultivated fields and its numerous windows and long front gallery allow you to contemplate the splendid panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River all seasons long. Those looking for a peaceful place, large green spaces and seasonal changes of scenery will be pampered. All this tranquility and bucolic landscapes are minutes away from the tourist activities and services offered on the Orleans island and only 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City.
The house is a piece by piece made construction. Its apparent frame is made of massive wood beams which bring a countryside and warm atmosphere. For the observers, you will notice the works of a blacksmith here and there in the house, as well as the traces of the passage of a colonel who inhabited this residence. The favorite piece is unequivocally the summer kitchen at the East which serves as a dining room.
