The Nest has an inviting, open design which includes 2 bedrooms, 1 spa-like bathroom, vaulted ceilings, a loft open to the living room, a dining area and full kitchen. It’s custom designed and tastefully decorated to feel fresh and inviting with beautiful views of the surrounding golf course, and the ocean and Coastal mountains beyond. The carriage house is self-contained, and located on a small hobby farm, just 5 minutes from the conveniences of Woodgrove mall, groceries, pubs and restaurants. Guests can enjoy their own private patio and garden or explore the nearby beaches and trails in the neighbouring forests. Summary: I had another wonderful stay at the Nest. This time I was able to meet Rob and Cathie. They were warm, friendly and wonderful hosts making sure I had every thing I needed. I like how close it is to Nanaimo and you are out in the country. The birdsong was lovely and one night the toads gave an amazing concert.
