Summary: The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. We stayed in the family room and it was absolutely fine for what we needed but a bit rough around the edges - the bunk beds were good for the kids and there were two bathrooms which was a bonus. Some books and games in there which was a nice touch. Had a kettle and drink station and a tv in each room (although we didn’t seem to be able to use both at the same time for some reason). The downside was that the room was above the kitchen and extremely noisy in the evening before 9:30pm, as would be expected with people working there (the music got pretty unbearable at times unfortunately) so be aware if you have young kids with an earlier bedtime. Floorboards also pretty noisy, so if you have sensitive sleepers, maybe not ideal. Otherwise, it did the job and past 9:30pm it was fairly quiet and comfortable.
