Summary: This is a lovely 3-bedroom house - high up on a hill with amazing views of mountains and down to the sea. Very quiet area - not touristy at all. About 4km outside the small town of Bolognetta which is about 30 min drive from Palermo. Also near Misilmeri which is another pretty little town with a fabulous ice cream shop.Jack was a great host - very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp & phone. Good directions and instructions for arrival.There were a couple of minor problems but he got them sorted quickly. The pool is beautiful and we spent many days just in the house and by the pool. The whole house is surrounded by large patio areas and there is always somewhere you can sit in the shade to eat. The kitchen is well equipped - there is a washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, microwave. And plenty of fridge space. We had days out to Cefalu, Palermo & Castellammare del Golfo. And found 3 great vegetarian & vegan restaurants in Palermo. All round a lovely holiday- highly recommend.
