Positive: We liked the park at the estate, warm welcome from the owner and grill standing by the house. We were quite surprised that the apartment was in a garden house facing riding facilities. This is not obvious when you make the reservation. Please see also what we did not like.

Negative: The apartment was in an old garden house facing riding facilities. Horses and people were continously moving around under our windows. The pictures of this apartment on booking.com are rather old and you may think there will be trees outside but there are none. The rooms (except for one bedroom) face the riding facilities. The rooms are specious but very poorly lit and the lamps give poor light as well. The building gets very hot in the summer. The kitchen annex is small and badly organised. There is virtually no working space although the photos are taken in such a way that you do not really see it. All large objects such as the kettle and coffee machine are put in the cabinets but when you use them, they have to stay on a small piece of the countertop all the time, leaving you with no place to make breakfast or dinner. The fridge does not have a freezer which would be useful. The location is far from perfect as supermarkets are at least 20 minutes away, there are no restaurants around. It was a very different stay compared to our stays neer Prerow and Malchow.

Summary: The place was below expectations but Luebeck and Schwerin as well as Ludwigslust are real gems.
