Positive: The River Breeze was just perfect for my wife and I; close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Our stay in Soufriere was everything that we'd hoped it would be. Sherman was a great host and as he lived next door, was easily available if we had any questions. We took a trip with him to the Tet Paul trail (he declined to walk it with us!), the sulphur spring and to Anse Chastenet where we had lunch. He was also able to take us on to our next stop in the north of the island. Sherman had clearly been thoughtful when setting up this cabin; there were electrical connectors for UK, European or US appliances, which was much appreciated. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen and the washing machine was a plus too. The shaded terrace with seating was great for late afternoon/early evening relaxation and there was a grass area available with recliner for sunbathing too.
Negative: The only thing that I can think of is that it would have been nice to have had a second bedside lamp.
Summary: A week of relaxation and enjoyment.
