The Private Guest Quarters at Linwood is a cozy 1 bed/1 bath apartment located beneath the main house at Linwood, Historic Home and Gardens, a 2-acre Victorian era estate built in 1883. The apartment has its own private entrance and is equipped with a small kitchen, a dining area, one bedroom, one bathroom and a washer/dryer. The Private Guest Quarters at Linwood is located on a two-acre historic estate in downtown Summerville with a beautiful garden and walking paths around the property that are open for guests to explore. It is on the ground level of the elegant, plantation-style house. The "Guest Quarters" was the original kitchen of the 1883 home, which was built by Julia Drayton Hastie, heiress to the famous Magnolia-on-the Ashley Plantation, just 20 minutes away.
