Domus Eleon Luxury Villa is a gorgeous property, located on a hillside in Kastellakia area, about 5 km away from the historic Old Town of Rethymno, with its winding alleyways, harbourside restaurants and bars, ancient fortress and sights. The villa is located in a peaceful area and is ideal for relaxing holidays away from the city noise, offering total privacy, but at the same time, only a short drive away from the long sandy beach on Cretes picturesque north coast.
Layout
Domus Eleon Luxury Villa boasts an impressive design, spacious areas, amazing internal spaces, and sophisticated decoration. An attractive combination of natural stone and white render, the striking, cubist-style architecture of the villa lends itself beautifully to its series of outdoor rooms, with patios and seating areas offering shade or sun, a cooling breeze or a sheltered spot, matching your every mood! Domus Luxury Eleon Villa covers 440 m2, split in 3 levels and can accommodate 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.
Ground Floor
Entering the Villa at the ground floor, guests find themselves in the open plan living room with a 55 Smart TV, contemporary fireplace that creates a refined ambiance and chic yet comfortable furnishings. The seating area and dining table that can sit 6 guests, are filled with light through four sets of French doors and a stunning vaulted ceiling with high level windows and open opens up to the veranda and pool terrace. Just off the lounge is a study area, playfully equipped with a brightly painted desk and chair, in case you have to reply some e-mails during your stay, a bookcase and board games. The study has beautiful view to the garden and access to the veranda. Additionally, a fully equipped kitchen with an additional dining area for 4 and access to the veranda, where guests can find an additional dining table for 8 people. The outdoor dining area is ideal to enjoy your breakfast, while taking in the amazing views. Finally, a WC and wardrobe are available on this level.
First Floor
The staircase linking the three floors is lit from above by a large skylight and boasts a striking glass balustrade. Upstairs are three of the four bedrooms, including the master bedroom, with a king-size bed (1,60X2,00), en-suite bathroom with bathtub and a private balcony with patio furniture and views towards the mountains or out to sea. The other two bedrooms feature 2 single beds each (0,90X2,00), one of them that can be joined together to form a queen size bed (1,80X2,00) and share a balcony as well, also enjoying the views of the area. They also share a family bathroom with shower cabin, also available on this floor. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have a 27 TVs, vanity and wardrobes. A laundry room with a washing machine, pharmacy and storage room can also be found on the first floor.
Lower Floor
Wiith a football table, Playstation 4 and 42 satellite TV to keep you entertained at the playroom on the lower floor, you may find it hard to find a reason to leave the villa. Outside the playroom, you can also find a ping pong table as well. Furthermore, the fourth bedroom with a king-size bed (1,60X2,00) and access to the garden is located here. A second kitchen with additional dining table with 6 chairs is also available at this floor. With two beautifully fitted kitchens, theres no excuse not to try your hand at some local specialities. Last but not least, guests have access to a spacious bathroom with double sinks and bathtub.
Outdoor Area
Occupying a substantial 5 acre plot, the outside space at Domus Eleon will grant you absolute privacy and plenty of room for relaxation, offering several facilities.
- Enjoy the sun by the 54 m2 private heated swimming pool (1,20-1,85 m deep), flanked by an elegantly tiled spacious sun terrace. From here, the views along the coastline and out to the sapphire blue sea are just wonderful, not least when the light begins to fade and the sky turns on its breath-taking orange glow. The pool can also be heated for the entire stay with an additional daily charge upon advance request. The pool area is equipped with 8 sun loungers, a hammock, 4 umbrellas, as well as an outdoor bathroom.
- Lush, beautifully landscaped gardens with lawn, citrus trees, and flowers fill the outdoor area of the villa. A path leads through wildflowers towards a vast olive grove, an ideal space for kids to run around and have fun and adults to stretch their legs.
- The fully equipped charcoal BBQ with outdoor sink will give you the chance to experience al fresco dining with your loved ones, against the backdrop of a dreamy sunset. A gas BBQ is also available.
- Fully fenced property with gated entrance and parking space for many cars inside the Villa premises.
