The Pataseca caves are located in Gorafe, a small troglodyte town, with the highest concentration of dolmens on the peninsula.
The caves, being excavated in clay, maintain a constant temperature between 18º-22º all year round, isolated from external noise and without light pollution, so they are ideal for resting.
We have not wanted to alter its ancient origin of “hand chopped”, now in disuse, maintaining its original architecture.
They are fully equipped.
For archeology fans, Gorafe has a Megalithic Interpretation Center and several routes with more than 200 dolmens.
At 7 Kms. You can relax in the spa of Alicún and contemplate the ditch of the Toril.
You can also visit the desert of "Los Coloraos".

Summary: We were knocked out by the simple beauty of Gorafe and the stunning scenery in which the village lies- the house has a gorgeous view from the terrace, very peaceful and private- the village has restaurants and bars easy to get to by foot-lots of fascinating things to do nearby- highly recommend. Great hosts, attentive and discreet
