Summary: The apartment is generally run down. The furniture is older. We didn’t have enough towels, although there were a number of wet ones left on a drying rack when we arrived - we weren’t sure whether they were clean or just used. There was no hot water, so we emailed the owner but got no answer. We called on the second day and finally got a response. It turns out that instructions on how to turn on the hot water heater were supposed to be in the apartment but were not. Prior to check in, I had emailed questions directly and through Hotels.com but go no answer to my emails in the run up to our stay. The property is not expensive and it housed all six of us, but towels and hot water are a basic necessity for any apartment. If you send an email address for communication you should respond to it.
