Summary: The room has visible signs of wear and tear, bottom of door has a tear, walls in bathroom are marked up, balcony floor paint has faded. Many of these are aesthetic but make your property unattractive. Ice machine on floor 6 does not work; heard that other floors had same problem forcing customers to go to floor 2 to get ice. The fact your hotel advertises continental breakfast is false advertising and misleading. Coffee is not considered breakfast; having muffins, cereals, and or protein available is. Coffee is a beverage and not breakfast. Having fruit in your water is not breakfast either. One of your hotel staff suggested coffee was continental breakfast to try and defend the claim you had breakfast. If you are not going to offer a food item with a”continental breakfast” in your definition of coffee then strive for honesty and say so. Coffee is not considered breakfast by many patrons!! When we return to Virginia Beach, we plan not to use your hotel and we will warn others to go to other places to stay.
