This apartment is our personal favorite!
It is cozy and open at the same time, with a full view of the backyard. Perfect for a single person or couples. It is decorated to make it feel practical, not crowded, and with everything you would have in a full apartment.
Sliding glass doors open to a terrace, with a big Mango tree right in the middle. Roses to the left and palm trees to the right. Sit out on the bench in the garden and enjoy the morning sunshine with a cup of coffee.

Summary: The property is a converted house with some interesting architectural features. Some of the facilities could be improved. The owner/manager is very pleasant and easy to deal with. The property is in a built up area a few kilometres from the centre of San Jose with excellent and inexpensive public transit. The living/sleeping areas are spacious but the bathroom is very small. The kitchen does not have hot water, but the shower does. There is no air conditioning but the unit I stayed in is nicely shaded and a/c is not needed. Outside the unit is a pleasant, small, green space. I spent twelve weeks there and perhaps the property may be better suited to shorter stays.
