Property Location: The House is located in the Soundview section of Montauk which is within walking distance to the Harbor area, by Gosman's Dock. You can easily walk to area Sound beaches, at least 1/2 dozen great restaurants, many lovely shops, Ben & Jerry's, the Montauk ferry terminal, and several local watering holes. Walk to the ferry and watch local fisherman bring in the catch of the day or charter your own fishing boat. Take the ferry for a day trip to Block Island or hire a sailboat for a fabulous sunset. Plenty to do on foot or bike! NOTE: Those of you considering homes that are 'walk to the ocean,' PLEASE keep in mind that we HIGHLY recommend swimming at beaches WITH TOWN LIFEGUARDS!
