Summary: THE OWNER (CHAD) UNWILLING TO REFUND ANY PORTION OF STAY DESPITE HIS GUESTS BEING UNABLE TO STAY PAST ONE NIGHT BECAUSE OF ELECTRICAL SAFETY CONCERNS. Issues with this BASEMENT unit- Electrical: One guest was injured by electrical shock when plugging in cellphone into a power outlet. AC unit lost power twice over night due to a popped circuit breaker. Outlets loose and didn’t hold plugs: devices fell out. One bedroom's side lamps did not work. The front porch light flickers like a strobe light. Cooling: Single AC unit in living room could not cool the unit. Ceiling fan in one bedroom wobbled so hard it shook the window. Bedroom windows have no screens and are at ground level bordering driveway and parking lot making opening a safety concern. Ambiance: The house smells musty. The linoleum floor has cigarette burns and were dirty/stained. There were spider nests in window sills. Parking: The reserved spot is directly up against a wooden fence and another unit's spot making it hard to get in or out. Also the quadplex's garbage dumpster is located directly behind the spot. We did not stay past one night as we did not feel safe in the unit due to electrical problems, poor cooling and cleanliness. It was unreasonably warm in the unit with the stand alone ac unit in the living room unable to cool any other room except the room it is in. We were booked for 4 nights and received no refund for the 3 nights we did not stay.
