Positive: The availability?
Negative: Our room literally didn’t have washcloths, or soap, much less any shampoo or conditioner. Really musty smell in the room that never went away and was super unpleasant. There were literal layers of dust and dirt in several places in the room. There was a card saying the name of someone who was ostensibly responsible for ‘cleaning’ the room? Our room was never cleaned and wasn’t clean. Could hear and even feel every person walking outside the room. I guess the person checking us in was ‘new’ I was told later because he just charged my card without saying he would and didn’t give me an option for how to pay or anything which was super weird to just charge someone over $1200 for three nights without confirming that. Especially because my friends who checked in after me had the opposite problem in that he overcharged them but at least they knew what they were paying for... Honestly at motel 6 prices I wouldn’t have minded these things but for over $400 a night during the Round-Up it just felt like absolute price gouging. Just felt honestly super grim.
