Summary: I found myself having to stay in Jacksonville unexpectedly so I usually look for the highest rated most affordable place. Well this hotel was definitely affordable but ignore the high rating it boasts! TV didn’t work, half the lights didn’t work and the bed was too hard for my liking. So other than that, and a crack in the wall above the door that light shone through, the room was ok. The major issue I had, as an old man alone, was no matter when I went outside there were ALWAYS 5-10 people leaning over the 2nd floor railing hooting and watching and laughing and playing music and having a grand old time. That’s fine I suppose, and it’s definitely not a crime, but I didn’t feel safe. And since “ security” is the basis of all well being, I wouldn’t return.
