Positive: Location excellent - Alet les Bains exceptionally pretty, with beautiful historically significant Abbey, thermal waters, La Source (spring mineral), medieval square and beautiful serene chapel at nearby San Salvatore. Hosts - Amanda and Neil are so warm, friendly and welcoming. Exceptionally accommodating. They have loads of local knowledge, best wines, best cheeses, best places to eat. We also learnt a new game - Rummikub! Property - The pool was amazing - beautiful gardens - it was an oasis in 40c degree heat! Two very comfortable, stylish bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, spacious dining and sitting areas. Great bathroom shower. Impeccably clean. Property is right in the centre of Alet yet very exclusive and private with excellent parking. Shaded deck area for alfresco meals with BBQ. Just excellent and very relaxing,
Negative: No air conditioning but electric fans were provided.
Summary: Glorious, welcoming Oasis in the French Pyrenees.
