Positive: the house was lovely. we were made very welcome by the owners when we arrived. great views of the valley from the upstairs windows in particular. only 10 minutes walk into the village for the boulangerie and croissants!
Negative: the warm air heating didn't work in the bedrooms but it wasn't too much of a problem as it wasn't too cold! we had a log fire in the livingroom too.
Summary: a lovely stay in a quiet location
