This rustic 3 bedroom, 2 bath lakefront cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, hardwood floors, and a great sun room.The detached master bedroom,affectionately known as the honeymoon cottage,has a king sized bed and a spectactular view .The decks at the main cottage directly overlook the lake and the North Carolina Tusquittee mountains. Situated at the tip of a very private peninsula, it has its own private floating deepwater dock. Bring a boat, fish, swim or just sit on the swing and enjoy the views. Gas grill & cable TV are included with the amenities

Summary: Great location with beautiful lake view! The property is a little dated, but you get what you pay for nowadays. There were no pictures of the outside of the house(s) on the rental advertisement and now i know why lol, but it's about as nice as a older home can be. Very 'Rustic' for sure. Probably built in the 60's?, but everything worked. AC worked, good water pressure and hot water. Nice view of the lake from the deck. This property is not for those that can't or shouldn't climb hills or steps. Very steep yard/hill down to the lake, and driveway and steps are steep. Lots of trip hazards. The hot tub had WAY too much chlorine in it and we had to aerate it for about 2 days and add water before we could even use it. All in all, decent lodging and the lake felt great! We will definitely return to this area and to Lake Chatuge.
