In the heart of unspoiled countryside (partly protected in ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), in the hollow of a green valley of meadows dominated by gentle wooded hills, soothing landscaped setting mixing agriculture, viticulture and nature, between pastures, rivers, hillsides of vines and vast wild forests, on the borders of the bucolic vineyards of Couchois and Maranges, close to the various "belvedere" mountains of the territory culminating at more than 500m (including Mont Rome and the "Montagne des Trois Croix" classified as a "natural park" rich in an exceptional 360° panorama, a site steeped in history, notably Neolithic and Roman).
