Summary: Rooms are dull and dated. Beds are small and creaky without a decent headboard. Movement sensor in the bathroom means light switches off every few seconds unless you move. Control switch for the electric shower was in the bedroom and dodgy. Money needs to be spent on updating everything. No problem with cleanliness and convenient location for Wilmslow. Perhaps we expected too much but the room was not refreshed after the first night and we ran ran out of tea. Staff were friendly. Car park was free and adequate. We didn't use the pub this time but on our previous visit we found the bar and staff excellent.
