Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Nice clean room. 30minute walk to the station. Bathroom was a bit cramped and although it says PRIVATE. You have to walk through the hall between the kitchen and living room to get to it, leaving getting changed after a shower very cramped in the WC. Was told I could make tea coffee in the kitchen, but wasn’t given a tour as to what was and wasn’t available to me. Bed was firm but weather was hot and the bedroom window (patio doors) actually opened out into the kitchen extension, so no fresh air in the heat. Host was polite and pleasant, parking was awkward as it’s on the path in front of the house, but if the space is tight, you’ll get a £160 ticket as I did. For the price charged, there are far better options available in the area.
Negative: Parking. Bathroom location Lack of a guide to the facilities available. Lack of Privacy(maybe) wasn’t sure if the host was in or out most of the time. Lack of window for air in the bedroom given.
Summary: Clean, but a bit confusing.
