Summary: We stayed for one week in Monteigas. The home is located down a long and narrow drive that is not easily accessible. The home is large and was more than sufficient for the eight in our group. The home has a great fireplace and the heating system quickly warmed up the house that was quite cold upon arrival. Plenty of firewood was provided so we burned the fire during the whole day. The worst thing about the home is the kitchen. It is very small and the design of it is crazy. We couldn't open the oven without unplugging the microwave and only one person can be in the kitchen at a time. They have a pool but as we were there for the Christmas season we never used it. I think a home in the mountains would do better with a hot tub. The only other drawback I see is at the home does not offer Internet or television. Other than that the owners and caretaker of the home were spectacular.
