Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in was very cozy and recently renovated. Everything was very clean. Breakfast spread was good, not extremely big, but there was a bit of variation everyday, and everything was delicious. The position is great, especially if you want to use public transport. There’s a bus stop right there, or the Cogwheel train station which is a 5 minute walk away (both can be used with the Grainau Card, which is free for guests).
