Positive: It was exactly as we hoped in what felt like the middle of nowhere with great views but still not far to the closest town Borgarnes for BBQ supplies. Very spacious, cozy and warm on arrival. Directions and info for access were perfect. The patio and bbq were great to use. Nice to be left to ourselves and enjoy the time with no check in check out routines needed. Top base to explore the west Snaefellsness peninsula. Close to the elf village where I would highly recommend you leave them a peace offering treat. I left biscuits and we had the best weather and no worries our entire trip! We even got to see the northern lights on our very first try. Great first impression of Iceland
Negative: The front door was a little difficult to open at first with the key. WiFi information was conflicting but sorted quickly. Maybe the only thing missing to make this the perfect place is a hot tub!
