Positive: Garda Amore is a beautiful apartment which had everything to make our stay in Sirmione an absolute delight: a complete kitchen, 2 bathrooms(!), washing machine, large closet, marble floors, good AC. The most important features: the lovely view over the lake from the balcony(where we enjoyed breakfast coffee and a few picnics), the quiet, and steps away from everything in old town Sirmione. The restaurant just outside the gate on the side away from the lake, Maria Callas, was fantastic. Nicola is a great host, always ready to answer our questions. We were very nervous about getting through the locked gate and into the apartment---we had no problem at all with the codes provided. We are already planning a return visit next year because we enjoyed it so much.
