Summary: My partner and I had a great time here. Loved the half board and the environment. It is remote but easy to get to as long as you pay attention to the bus schedule and plan ahead. It’s only a 15 mins bus ride from the Kumatori station. It’s a great escape from the city and late night emergency siren. The view from the room was stunning. Cherry blossoms were right outside the window within reach. The staff was friendly despite the language barrier. Communication about the shuttle service was clear. It might have been nicer if the shuttle service information was also shared and open for booking by email or Expedia chat box 2 days before the check in day, so we could have taken their shuttle. My favorite thing about this ryokan was that they have a lot of cute kimonos to choose from for ladies instead of everyone wearing the same style :)
