Positive: Forget Me Not is a detached cottage and part of a small group of cottages. There is an allocated parking space, garden with patio furniture and a games room for residents to use. There is also a laundry free to use. It is a beautiful and peaceful location and a car is essential. You enter into the open plan kitchen, diner, lounge. There is a lovey balcony through double doors off the lounge. There is a handy storage room and toilet off the kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs. They stay pleasantly cool in warm weather. We self catered and there are local shops as well as larger stores at Wadebridge. It’s very easy to get to Wadebridge, Padstow, Eden Project, Jamaica Inn. We took our own bicycles and cycled the Camel Trail. There are lots of bikes for hire, highly recommended. We stopped at the lovely tree shaded Camel Trail Tea Garden for lunch. We visited Lizard Point, which has a spectacular coastline. Lots of National Trust sites in the area. Staying at Forget Me Not Cottage made for a very comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen, great shower, roll top bath, plenty of towels, comfortable beds and lots of space. The owners (and builders) of the cottages are farmers who also own the farm house at the back of the cottages and the surrounding fields and have done so since the 70s. Very responsive to messages and near by if you need anything. We arrived to tea/coffee/milk. However, you do need to take your own soap, shower gel, kitchen condiments, oil, salt pepper etc as they are not provided. There is a shared unsecured wifi service and you can sign into Netflix on the TV.
