Summary: We loved staying in this house close to the sea, with lovely views over the bay of St Brieuc. There were views from all rooms, but best of all from the two bedrooms. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our one week stay in September for 2 people. Things like teatowels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and coffee filters were already in the cupboards. We were warmly met by the owners who clearly take pride and care of the property. The property is a short way along a cul-de-sac and you walk up steps through the nice garden to get to the front door and 2 patio areas (with tables, chairs and sun loungers, also overlooking the bay). You park the car in the free public car park by the sea, about 2 minutes walk away (but you can park nearer to unload). We loved the location which was in a fishing village with no tourist shops (though you could buy live lobsters). You have to drive a mile or two back up through the village to get to the centre of Poubazlanec village where there is a small supermarket, 2 bakers, a butcher and a few other shops. There is a nice restaurant about 5 minutes walk up the road from the house, and a couple of other places in the village, But most restaurants and the bigger supermarkets are in Paimpol about 10 mins away by car. We went in September so outside the main season and the area was very quiet. We loved this and were very happy to be slightly off the beaten track. We highly recommend this house.
