Positive: We booked on a Sunday for the Monday. Within an hour or so of booking the hotel was showing as fully booked. When we arrived we found that we were the ONLY 2 guests staying!! They had a large wedding on the weekend and I suspect that they wanted the Monday to clear up and forgot to block out any bookings. Anyway, as the only two people in a 35 room hotel it was a bit strange, but ultimately a fantastic experience. The staff could not have been nicer. The lady at checking was excellent. We booked for dinner and a table for two was set up on the terrace. From pre dinner drinks to a few drinks after, we were never rushed or felt to feel we were the only guests. The service was fantastic as was the food. Breakfast again, was really good with a good continental spread set up for just the two of us. The hotel itself is beautiful with loads of character. Lovely gardens and a fantastic pool. This is a great place for a relaxing stay.
