Positive: - spacious comfortable rooms with well-equipped kitchenette. - we were given a 10-litre box of apple juice from the owner's orchard (I presume this only happens at the right time of year and if it has been a good apple harvest) and were invited to pick plums and apples). - a quiet location but very near the shops and handy for the station. - friendly helpful owner (who spoke much better English than our German) - within hiking distance of attractive wooded hills. I set off from the door to do a 17km hike which took me over the border into the Czech Republic and along the remains of the old Schwarzenberg Canal through the woods.
Negative: We liked everything! The entrance might not be immediately obvious. It is not the front door of the address but is through the gate marked 'Herzlich willkommen!' ('Many welcomes') down the entry just to the right of the door.
