Positive: Pros: * Excellent communication with Esmeralda and a genuine willingness to help. * She told us about a free parking area and even waited there for us to drive us and our luggage closer to the apartment. * The apartment is clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a short stay: snacks, a coffee machine, toiletries, etc. * The fridge was stocked with plenty of water and juice. * The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and you can really experience the atmosphere of authentic Italy. * Very flexible check-in and check-out times. Esmeralda kindly accommodated our requests, which we really appreciated.
Negative: Cons: * The apartment is quite dark, as there are only two small windows. * The listing mentioned an exceptional breakfast. What I expected was a breakfast prepared with fresh local ingredients each day. Instead, we found a few yogurts, some fruit, several packaged supermarket croissants, sliced toast bread, and small portions of jam and Nutella in the fridge. In my opinion, it would be much better received by guests if the breakfast included simple local products such as fresh bread, cherry tomatoes, Mozzarella di Campania DOP, and some prosciutto. * I would not particularly recommend the property for families with young children because there are quite a lot of stairs. However, for adults, this is not an issue at all.
Summary: We stayed at Esmeralda’s place for two nights in June.
