Close by are historical villages, medieval monasteries, and a fascinating medieval village almost intact since the 12th century. Being so close to the river Douro this makes possible for visitors to envoy trips by boat on the river including the visit to wine cellars. This property that covers 8 acres, lawns, shrubs, and trees most of them oak, has been in my family for the last 200 years, the house is located at 750 metres high with a spectacular view over a beautiful valley facing a mountain of great beauty. Sitting in the garden or by the pool, gazing the view, breathing fresh air, it's a great place to relax due to the fact of being totally isolated in nature, the nearest house is the owners house at a distance of 60 metres .
