Positive: Our stay at this little house in Montenegro was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel so welcome—like we were staying with family. He brought us even food once (even without us asking!) and always made sure we had everything we needed. That kind of kindness really stayed with us. The house itself is lovely—simple, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The sunsets from the property were absolutely magical. We’d sit outside in the evenings just watching the colours change over the hills. Even though it felt really private and secluded, it was still close to town and shops, so we never felt far away from anything. And just a short drive away, we found a cosy little pekara with the most amazing pastries—sweet, salty, warm from the oven… we may have gone back every day. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back someday.
