Hills of Portalon is a peaceful residential community with lots of 1.24 acres minimum, giving ample space between neighbors. It is conveniently located 5 minutes to the highway, 10 minutes to the AMAZING playa Linda, and the famous surf town of Dominical is just 20 minutes away. Traveling north, 20 minutes to the Quepos airport, Hospital, the brand new Marina Pez Vela, banks and large supermarkets!
This safe neighborhood is perfect for families or those looking for the perfect home to enjoy your next Costa Rica vacation. Its close proximity to Manuel Antonio, Quepos and Dominical, and all the amenities and restaurants that those places offer.

After visiting many parts of Costa Rica, we chose the Dominical area as our favorite. It’s a unique part of the Central America coast where the jungle meets the ocean. Where else can you hear and see both the ocean as well as howler monkeys and four-foot long iguanas? Add in world class surfing, fishing, and the world famous Marino Ballena National Park nearby. You can fly into Quepos from San Jose (a short 20 minute flight on Sansa Airlines - flysansa.com - instead of a 3+ hour drive) where they will bring your rental car right to where you pick up your luggage. You’ll be at your villa in an easy 40 minutes from when your plane lands! Or, we can arrange a shuttle that will pick you up as soon as you step outside the San Jose airport that will take you right to our home. You will need a 4x4 to get to our property, as well as many restaurants and attractions in the area.
