Positive: The cottage was quirky and warm in a lovely location

Negative: The absolute basics were missing, a welcome pack with bare minimum of milk bread eggs and tea/coffee would have been a great touch when you arrive late with no local shop open at that time. Bathroom was exceptionally cold, the underfloor heating did not work which meant the room was permanently damp. Cobwebs are to be expected in old cottages however these were in abundance everywhere felt as if it needed a good clean - sorry to appear so negative we have never used this method of booking before and usually use Unique Homestays, Boutique Retreats or Toad Hall, each provide a higher standard and due to the price paid this is what we were expecting
