Located on 2 nd floor with stairs.30 second walk to Infinity pool Tiki Bar and pristine beach.our condo is situated in South Bimini which is one of the 700 islands of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the U.S 48 miles east of Miami, Florida.
Ernest Hemingway once lived there and wrote about it in his book "Islands in the Stream".
The condo is attractively and tastefully furnished , has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and has a beautiful length view of the marina. Boat slips are available and are visible from the unit. It is a 30 second walk to the infinity pool and to an idyllic beach and ocean.
Private and secure wifi, flat screen HDV TV
The Master bedroom has a king size bed and a dresser and closet, and an ensuite full bathroom.
The loft style second bedroom has a queen size bed, a twin bed and an ensuite full bathroom.
Both bedrooms have ample linens, towels, beach towels and basic toiletries. Also an electric hairdryer.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates silverware etc. Also a full stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator and freezer. In the kitchen cabinets you will also find a George Foreman grill, electric kettle, blender, coffee maker, toaster, ironing board and iron.
There are four comfortable leather chairs at the counter.
The living room has a leather sofa . leather reclining armchair and has a beautiful view of the marina.
The balcony has a large dining table and six chairs, and a four burner barbecue with butane bottle.
There are porcelain driftwood tiles throughout the unit except in the loft bedroom which has vinyl flooring
The Resort has a fabulous infinity pool in front of the ocean ( a one minute walk from the condo)
Boat slips are rented from the marina office ( and the Ship Store is stocked with basic needs. The Tiki Bar and restaurant is by the Infinity pool
There is a restaurant above the Ship Store.
Another grocery store is within walking distance of the Resort (D & S Groceries) and they also rent golf carts.
Just a little further is the Public dock where a ferry runs every fifteen minutes to North Bimini. It is a five minute boat ride and costs $2 per person.
North Bimini has a straw market, several restaurants and hotels and a casino.
South Bimini is serviced by Bahamas Air out of Miami, Silver Airways out of Fort Lauderdale and Elite Airways out of Melbourne. A ferry runs from Miami to North Bimini several times a week. The cab ride from South Bimini airport is $6 per person.
The currency is Bahamian dollars, however US dollars are accepted everywhere and the exchange rate is par.
The beach and waters around the Resort are breathtaking and unspoiled, and we ask that all guests respect their beauty. Swimming from the beach one can see many tropical fish.
Boat trips, Snorkeling and Scuba diving can be arranged through Neal Watson Scuba Center. In South Bimini you can hire Bimini Brown to take you fishing and diving.
