Summary: 7 of us spent the week in St. John to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. We've always stayed in Coral Bay in the past, but decided to try Chocolate Hole this time. We're so glad we did! It's so convenient to all of the shops and restaurants of Cruz Bay, but is quiet and serene with gorgeous views. The layout of the home is exceptional for a large group. The sliding doors from the den to the balcony/ patio make it "live" as one large space. The kitchen is small but very adequate and well stocked. There's even a nice blender and a shaker to be able to make drinks at home.Plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, pool noodles, and float mats are provided. The driveway is flat and very easy to navigate (unlike many driveways on St. John)! The house was exceptionally clean, and there were even fresh flowers in vases in the den and kitchen. The property is beautifully landscaped. Check in was easy- Katherine, one of the managers, met us as the house and showed us around. There are keypads on the doors, so there are no keys to keep track of.While the house is technically walkable to Cruz Bay, the road is steep and there are no sidewalks, so you would need a car to stay here. Rachel, the owner, was no nice and responsive. We'd love to stay here again!
