Summary: Beachwalk Residence is okay if you just need a single night in Kuta. The staff weren't very friendly and not very welcoming either. They seemed a bit indifferent towards guests. Even though the hotel, or the apartments, are close to the beach, you're not allowed to take the pool towels down there, so you either have to buy towels yourself or bring your own (which I don't imagine many people bother with when you're flying halfway around the world and every bit of suitcase space counts). The location is brilliant and really convenient for the shopping centre (it's literally in the shopping centre), the beach and the rest of Kuta downtown. But the rooms themselves lack soul and warmth, and they feel pretty worn. The pool is small and boring, and I don't think anyone really uses it. The fitness is also really small. But definitely brilliant when it comes to location.
