The last house on Apalachicola Bay at the West end of the island. This is just before the Cut which is the navigational channel separating Little St. George Island State Park. This home has a deep water dock (10') where premier fishing is to be had, a private pool shared among the 10 residential homes of Bayside and place for parking your boat trailer while you visit. Surrounded by parkland and water, this home is a great experience. And fishing is GREAT here too. The strong tide runs in deep water along the dock going to and from the navigational channel are very productive for many saltwater game fish. Very private and peaceful. Located in the Plantation. A private gated community with new clubhouse and pool.
On the second floor is an open floor plan kitchen/living room. Great for entertaining guests and family dinners. Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils as if you were right at home.

Summary: The house was very spacious and very well stocked. Their was ample room, and the house could easily be used for large family gatherings. The furnishings were adequate but could use some updates. The island itself is quaint and quiet, and the proximity of the house to both the bay and the beach were awesome. I realize the listing gives some information about the boat docking situation, but it would have been helpful to know that our boat was not safe in the water with all the wave action, and it was not easily accessible from the boardwalk. We had to anchor the boat out in the water, someone had to swim to tie and untie it, and others had to leap from the boardwalk to get into and out of the boat. This could be impossible for some guests. Had I known in more detail the situation, I wouldn't have booked this property. All in all, we worked everything out, and the vacation was great.
