An Amazing Rocky Point Oasis Beach Front Home in Las Conchas with the most breathtaking sunset views. Endless sand between you and the Sea of Cortez. Our best feature is the huge covered patio facing the beach.
We have the most beautiful beach in all of Rocky Point far from the shoulder-to-shoulder packed beaches on the west side of town. Our beach is just like it was 35 years ago - untouched. You almost forget you're staying in a popular tourist destination.
Las Conchas is a beach community about 2 miles east from the city center. We're in section 8 (very close to the entrance of Las Conchas). From the house we're 10 to 15 minutes from the Old Port, Shopping, Supermarkets, and Restaurants. Sam's Club is 20 minutes at most.
We offer 4 bedrooms with 5 beds for 10 guests (1 King, 2 Queens, and 2 Doubles) and 3 bathrooms.
All bedrooms have plenty of bedding and are decorated with luxury bedding and accessories. The master suite has a California king size bed with an incredible ocean view and a private bath and tub. Bedrooms 2 and 3 (ocean view) each have queen size beds, shared by a full bathroom just across the hall from each other. Bedroom 4 has two full beds and a full bathroom just outside it's door.
The large covered patio features: a huge gazebo with a custom bar, built in charcoal barbecue (bring charcoal) and a fire pit (bring wood)...perfect for entertaining, watching the dolphins and whales, and of course... watching the most amazing sunsets.
Our home centers around a magnificent octagonal shaped living room, topped with a brick dome (bóveda) ceiling. Granite top kitchen, bar and master bathroom. You will love the Estrada 5 Gallon Hot/Cold water dispenser and Keurig coffee maker in dining room, and the new 75" TV with Netflix.
There are several outstanding features about our tastefully decorated home. We have a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, a spacious great room, new 75" TV, Roku player, Netflix, fiber optic internet service with WiFi and unlimited downloads, beehive fireplace w/lighting, over 2,500 SqFt living space, and a large covered patio deck that overlooks the ocean. For your convenience there is an outside shower where you can rinse after a day of fun on the beach.
The court yard separates our home from our gated entrance to the property.
Early check-in: During the busy season we may have a guest checking-out the same day of your arrival, so we'll need to adhere to the 4pm check-in. However, we do invite you to come early (but not before 12 noon) to drop-off your luggage and go shopping, sightseeing, go to a restaurant, or change into your swimsuits and enjoy the beach while the house is being cleaned for you.
More on our beautiful beach: Rocky Point has the 4th highest tidal variance in the world, up to 25ft (~7m). It's all due to the moon's gravitational pull on the earth and our location on the Sea of Cortez. During low tide enjoy the amazing tidal pools teaming with sea life like hermit and sand crabs, minnows, shrimp, and bonus points if you see octopus or anemones, or just wait 3 to 6 hours for high tide and you'll have your picture perfect, sandy beach.
