Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Matlock. From the moment we arrived (which was late - during a storm) it felt so cosy, welcoming and homely. The log burner was a real highlight, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind, especially after a day out exploring in Matlock. The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The beds were lovely and comfortable, and there were plenty of games to enjoy, which was a lovely added touch. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was also fantastic, with a bus stop just around 50 yards away, making it so easy to get into Matlock without having to worry about driving. There were also plenty of local restaurants offering Just Eat delivery on the night we arrived which was perfect for us the night and we arrived. We honestly couldn’t have asked for much more. A beautiful, well-equipped cottage in a lovely location, with all the little touches that make a stay feel special. We would happily recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing, cosy getaway and would absolutely love to return! ❤️ The hosts were easy to get Intouch with when we had questions. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend away.
